Don't fall for the "Phishing Expeditions" PDF Print E-mail

There has been an icreasing number of malicious e-mails that fall under the category of "Phishing." This is a technique used to trick you out of personal data by masquarading as a legitimate e-mail from AOL, eBay, PayPal or banks and financial institutions. In most cases, the e-mail looks legitimate and asks you to follow a link and update your 'account information' or something bad will happen... you will be suspended or closed. The link most often takes you to a rogue server, where a form requests personal data. Remember.... none of the places listed above will EVER ask for this data in an e-mail. Be alert!
